"Everything is becoming more automated," says Polina Osherov, executive director of Indiana nonprofit PATTERN, which is hosting its second Indiana Creative Economy Summit on Oct.
9 in Indianapolis.
"We're really focused on growing creative industries and wanted to help stakeholders understand the impact and the value of investing in creative sectors."
What that means for the state, per Osherov: "Investing in creatives is probably the next focal point as an industry that we should be thinking about as a state," she tells the Indianapolis Star.
The summit is open to the public and will feature a series of TED Talk-style presentations by six entrepreneurs giving a glimpse into Indiana's creative entrepreneurial ecosystem.
